Akshita Alaigh is the 4th Grade ELA and Social Studies teacher here at The Queen City Academy Charter School. Ms. Alaigh graduated from Kean University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education; she has certifications as an Elementary School Teacher (Grades K-5) and Language Arts/Literacy Specialization (Grades 5-8).
Ms. Alaigh’s diverse teaching experience includes interning in urban schools and substituting and teaching in private primary schools. Additionally, she has managerial experience in a learning enrichment center focusing on developing fundamental language arts literacy and mathematics skills for students from early childhood to high school. Being a part of such learning environments has enhanced and enriched her passion for teaching! Ms. Alaigh strives to differentiate instruction and implement engaging learning strategies in a fun and safe classroom that encourages students to learn and explore.
Ms. Alaigh enjoys learning about world cultures, mythology and loves arts and crafts!
