On Wednesday, March 14, 2018 the Queen City Academy Charter School (QCACS) participated in National School Walkout Day. This nationwide protest is both a memorial and protest action. Students and teachers across the United States walked out their schools this morning to honor the lives of the 17-people killed at Stoneman Douglas and apply pressure on lawmakers to pass stricter gun control laws. The protest was organized by EMPOWER, the youth branch of the Women’s March.
