With very little supervision required, the student is demonstrating rapid progress in this learning area. This is an observed strength. - 3 - Competent
With little assistance, the student is demonstrating steady progress in this learning area. Strength is usually observed. - 2 - Developing
With some assistance at each step to insure focus, the student is demonstrating progress in this learning area. Some additional practice is needed. - 1 - Beginning
With direct assistance, the student is demonstrating some progress in this learning area. Extra time and practice are needed.
The grading system, beginning at grade three is as follows:
- A+ 100-97
- A 96-93
- A- 92-90
- B+ 89-87
- B 86-83
- B- 82-80
- C+ 79-77
- C 76-73
- C- 72-70
- D+ 69-67
- D 66-65
- D- 64-60
- F 59 & Below
