Primary Grading Scale K-2

Reporting Code:

  • 4 - Expanded
    With very little supervision required, the student is demonstrating rapid progress in this learning area. This is an observed strength.
  • 3 - Competent
    With little assistance, the student is demonstrating steady progress in this learning area. Strength is usually observed.
  • 2 - Developing
    With some assistance at each step to insure focus, the student is demonstrating progress in this learning area. Some additional practice is needed.
  • 1 - Beginning
    With direct assistance, the student is demonstrating some progress in this learning area. Extra time and practice are needed.

The grading system, beginning at grade three is as follows:

  • A+ 100-97
  • A 96-93
  • A- 92-90
  • B+ 89-87
  • B 86-83
  • B- 82-80
  • C+ 79-77
  • C 76-73
  • C- 72-70
  • D+ 69-67
  • D 66-65
  • D- 64-60
