Ms. Davis is a recent graduate from Rutgers University – Newark (Class
of 2022) where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and
Certification of Eligibility with Advanced Standing for teaching K-12
mathematics. She completed her student teaching experience at East
Side High School in Newark, NJ and worked with our 6th graders at
Queen City Academy as a teaching assistant during Saturday Academy.
Because of her outstanding work as a student teacher, her education
professors at Rutgers nominated her to the NJDOE as a Distinguished
Clinical Teaching Intern. Ms. Davis is also from Newark, NJ where she
attended both public and charter schools. It was her experience at a
charter school that inspired her to become a math teacher. She loved
the enthusiasm that her teachers had towards the subject matter and
the amount of support they provided each of their students. Ms. Davis
is excited to be joining the QCACS family and hopes to have the same
impact on her own students.
