Ms. Dixon is the new 4th Grade Math and Science teacher here at QCACS! She holds a BA degree in Psychology with a minor in Health and is currently enrolled to receive a Master’s degree in Public Health. Ms. Dixon has worked in education for 5 years in counting, two years working in underprivileged communities, such as Newark, NJ where she catered to all students in the Special Education and 3rd grade sector. There she realized that working in her own community would be more effective in which QCACS is welcoming Ms. Dixon back into Plainfield, NJ to further her role as a teacher.
In Ms. Dixon’s spare time, she is a Behavior Technician, offering therapeutic services to children ages 5-18 years-old that have Autism/ASD. It is with pleasure to help all people of age and skin color by giving back to this community. Ms. Dixon has a precious 2-year-old daughter.
Ms. Dixon plans to indulge in her group of students’ ability to learn at a diligent pace and carry out their practices into the real world. It is a privilege to be given a productive role inside and outside of the class as a teacher. Ms. Dixon’s goal is to encourage students and provide effectiveness daily as a product of her own environment.
