Mr. Corcoran is entering his 16th year at QCA; he is pleased to teach our 5th-8th grade scholars Social Studies. Mr. Corcoran graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University Cum Laude attaining a Degree in United States History.
At the Queen City Academy Charter school, he has contributed to the school community in many different ways. Mr. Corcoran served as the advisor to the Student Council. One of his favorite activities in student council was helping to prepare students for their Election day speeches. He also served as the Coach and Advisor to the Soccer Club for many years. It was one of the most popular clubs in the school and students looked forward to after school practice to develop their skills in the game. We had our own league in which teams competed for the title of soccer champion at QCA.
Outside of school interests, Mr. Corcoran enjoys playing Golf, always trying to improve in the World’s most challenging sport and enjoys being a supporter of Manchester United. He has traveled to Europe, Canada and numerous cities in the United States to follow the Red Devils.
Mr. Corcoran continues to enjoy bringing my passion for Social Studies to the students at Queen City Academy, as working with our scholars is the best part of his day!
