
Mr. Shandroff aka Myster-E is a creative and captivating Hip Hop MC, spoken word poet, teaching artist, curator, coach, youth mentor and edutainer. He first earned his Associate of Arts degree from Brookdale Community College and then went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from Kean University in 2019. He has made a name for himself both locally and internationally through his performative rapping style and wide ranging teaching experience. Myster-E was named U.S. Hip Hop Cultural Ambassador on behalf of Next Level USA, in which he will be facilitating cultural diplomacy through artistic practices in Poland, May 2022. He is a business owner and creator of “Myster-E Edutainment” which has been serving youth and community through poetry, podcasting, chess and Hip Hop since 2018. Additionally, he currently works as a Teaching Artist for the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark as well as the Count Basie Theater in Redbank, he is the coordinator of the Hip Hop Institute at the Monmouth County Boys and Girls Club, working in partnership with Lakehouse Recording Studios in Asbury Park. Myster-E serves as the NJ Regional Director for Rappers and Rabbis, an organization that fuses Jewish Education with Hip Hop practices. Lastly, Mr. Shandroff has been teaching and serving the youth this past year at Queen City Academy Charter School, he started the year as the Visual & Performing Arts teacher at the high school and later became the long term Phys Ed Instructor for QCA youth K-8, in which he has built a strong report and bond with his students in the few months he’s been there.
